Countdown Day 7

This time next week I will be on a plane headed to Chicago and from there on to Tokyo.

I'm not real sure what I think of this at the moment....

Lately, when I think of getting on the plane I get sick to my stomach.  I'm unsure of whether this is caused by nervousness about leaving my family or just a simple dread of getting back on a plane for 12 hours straight.... probably a combination of the two.

There is still a lot I have to do in the next week. Including making sure I get to see and spend time with everyone before I leave. Today I'm eating lunch with Mommy and Nicole ^^

Just a week left....

Today I had dinner with Gramma, Martha, and Tammy~

It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!

Countdown Day 9

Well... I'm officially into single digits on my countdown until I leave......
It's so weird to me still that it is so close to being here. I have been counting down for so long I guess I'm just used to the countdown haha

We started the official facebook countdown at 144 days in April

Now I'm down to 9 days left.  Currently I'm feeling very numb, but the panic hits me occasionally.  I try not to think about it too much but maybe I should think about it a little more so I can find the motivation to clean and organize my room before I leave.... I'm sure my mother would appreciate that haha

The Farewell Party

Today was my going away party~

We went to lunch at El Nopal (my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in my hometown)

It was so great to be able to see everyone before I leave.  There were around 30 of us there so it was hard to talk with everyone, but I tried to get around and at least speak and say hey to everyone because it meant a lot to me that so many people came to tell me goodbye. I love my family so much and the hardest part of leaving for the next year is that I'm not going to be around them.  So thank you so much everyone! I love you all ♡

Countdown Day 11

So I already failed at my blogging every day -_-''

I can see how this blog is going to work now... I have to get better about posting on time haha


Anyway, last night was the first football game for Calhoun High School☆
It will probably be the only game I get to see....therefore, I had to make it special for my little sister the trumpet soloist ^^

Nicole and I made signs that said "We ♥ Leslie!"

Then held them up at the football game during the halftime show for Leslie and the world to see~!
I'm so proud of my baby sister and I hope she will have a wonderful senior year♡ I'm just sad I won't be able to see it :(  Mom has to get good at skyping me from her phone so I can "go" to all the events haha
